Does anyone know these well? I been trying to learn some of the Cannith challenges, and its like 50/50.

I try farming lvl 25 time is money, sometimes I get 10-35k for the 5 mins and a chest, sometimes I get jack shit.

I hear these are the best place to farm xp because they have no repetition penalty.

i know them okay...the kobold ones are fairly easy (and quick)...they also are good to farm epic tokens...you get approximately 100 materials for 3 starring time is money...so 15 minutes for a token...and 40k xp. can't beat that Smile

the chests drop only from red names...

the kobold island ones are annoying, but they're all worthwhile doing at least once as there are huge bonuses for first time completion...

the challenges took a 50% xp hit, which sucks but i think it makes sense as it *should* be a pain in the @$$ to get to level 25 with only 10 quests released...

all challenges take a 50% xp hit?

that makes no sense, the pack is already over-priced and not worth getting.

why they keep fucking up my game, barely want to play anymore

I'm kinda fuzzy on how experience works after lvl 20. I don't have the challenges pack. Will it be difficult to reach lvl 25 and unlock more than one destiny without that pack?

yes, each destiny is about 2 million xp, the repetition penalties make it just about necessary to TR to keep gaining xp.

the thing the challenges had going for it, was challenges have no repetition penalty and was decent xp. i'm still in shock of sorts about them changing this, i honestly cant see anyone wanting to purchase the challenge pack anymore.

Hmm. Okay, thanks for the info. So basically, if I want to go for more than one destiny, my choice is to either

i) buy the challenges pack and repeat them endlessly, for lesser xp than before; or
ii) TR

I had gathered enough TPs to be able to buy the challenge packs but I think I'll hold off for a while to see if things change again.

I'm not a major fan of having to repeat the same quests endlessly to reach a goal. TRing again would probably be the path I take, as at least there is a choice in variety of quests to take, and I can save up the universal tokens for doing challenges occasionally.

I know the challenges were giving stupid amounts of xp at first.

We did the one out in evening star ...there was a way to easily 6 star at lvl 30 with only really killing the bosses....first time got over 200k xp for it. I would have rather they fixed the ability to charm the 3 groups of mobs and have nothing to do then cut the xp.

I maxed out my one destiny without doing challenges on Cari, and she has the first level of another (all I really needed) But I've found that with trying to get the things I want/need out in evening star I'm getting decent xp still. Quests I've repeated 8 times are still giving over 10k...not great, but still not that bad.

i see nothing wrong with this...the expansion has been out for a month...imagine if you had to go from 1-20 with only VON and Gianthold to run. there will be more quests released, all is not lost

I didn't really overplay the expansion challenges or the regular ones and was able to get soorya to 25 with no problems, and worked on 3 epic destinies before TRing her. Doing the old epics got quite a bit of experience for first time bonuses on hard as well as running through the new chains. Some of the new chains I only ran once. I'm sure refutor is right about more content coming out for upper levels.

Just think how long you've had some of your toons at 20 and I imagine that even taking the experience you'd earned from the old epics repetitively would have had you at 25 before the expansion came out.
