Also worthy of note, in election news:some interesting measures on the ballots in OR, WA and CO. A bit sad that Oregon is projected to lose. But we have such AMAZING growing conditions!

I just voted IRL. Interesting thing in NY. They are allowing displaced people to fill out affidavits and vote in any polling place they want to. The pollster just right in front of my gave an affidavit to someone whose house is right around the corner from the polling place, just because their polling district changed and it's more convenient than traveling a mile or two. I asked him about it and he said "well technically, I'm not allowed to ask her if she's displaced." So I see tons of affidavits on the desk. I am sure this is going to be a nightmare. Can imagine dragging out the count all week and claims of voter fraud throughout the NE.

Right. The affidavits are there for folks to use in the event someone is displaced, but the officials can't legally ask if they are displaced. Got to love it.

Was going to say that according to my copy of New Scientist, Romney doesn't stand a chance and Obama will definitely get re-elected. And this was published about a month ago (I am still catching up on my reading lol)

Dear Washington and Colorado States:
I love you.
That is all.
Good night!
Love my neighbor to the north! I am disappointed that Oregon couldn't pull it together. Maybe next election. We can't let WA be more progressive than us!
