| Been testing it out. Seems load screens go a bit faster, but its not the 'wow' I was hearing about.
Anyone else do this?
I've been messing with things, since the x-pack I noticed my system seems to lag a bit more. I already started turning down the graphics, which makes me sad enough, and I'm too broke to upgrade until next year. When I first got this pc it ran DDO like a champ, now, not so much.

| there has been a lot of lag lately. Even Grev and his super awesome computer have been lagging in game. So I don't think it's you so much as the game itself.
Last night we were running caught in the web and in vent.... we were all having our game lock up at the same time.

| Yeah, I can't play LOTRO or DDO on my laptop anymore- biding my time until I can afford a new comp. I'd love to blame the game, but this damn thing is over 4 years old. I suppose even considering the possibility of running it from a tablet is laughable. | |

Last night we were running caught in the web and in vent.... we were all having our game lock up at the same time. Yea, I did some research and tested some benchmarks.. Anyway, seems it was a bit of both. I uninstall my high res version of DDO and installed standard resolution. Now I can run everything on high graphics again and get my 60 frames per second. Yes, anything more than 30 FPS is a waste, but I like having that buffer space. I hate video lag. I will probably be testing out the usb stick once again, when I am in the mood for it. Right now, its not broken so I'm not goig to waste time fixing it. Got it running really well so I'm happy with it. The in game lag, well, nothing I can really do. Always charisma/umd swap lag, or just weird areas or spots where it lags all the time for me, but thats never been anything new. I'm gonna try to get a new PC in a few months, probably going to build it myself. Until then I should be fine tho.
