I must say I really like the workshop update. So the mines must have been too.
When I work 1, 2, 3 or 4 hours I make 3, 6, 9 or 12 bread. So working in times of 4 hours is the best and a lot easier than needing to work every hour.

While I agree the system sucks for people who can't log in often and/or regularly, I see quite a few people who say something along the lines of: "I liked this game because I could spend 3 minutes doing button clicking, and the rest of the time I focus on RP"

In my opinion: if you don't care about the button clicking, the money making, the clothes, backgrounds, pets, etc. You can still only do the basics to survive, or help out your town/county, while you focus on the fun part of RPing in the taverns and forums.

So: yes it sucks, but there still is fun to be had. Right? *looks hopeful*

After taking a couple of days to try out the power clicking, I have to say that, while it is frickin' annoying, the major flaw is with the 22 hour shifts, which constrains what you can do the next day based on your log in time (and could be fixed with Anto's queuing). Uni activities, making state and army points, sailing, so far these things are all the same. Mines maintenance I can see being a pain in ass.

But as Grigori and others have said, most of us are long term players because the community and friends we have here. Hopefully after a few bumps, we'll be able to find ig working schedules that fit with our lives. Seems a bit easier to do now that workshops have been desynced.

I would be very sad if we lost our community because of some dumb ass developers trying to make themselves useful. In the mean time, let's just have as much fun as possible, and not let the bastards get us down. Razz
