Considering Glasgow has again and again reduced the debt within the county, to suggest it's in the dumps is nonsense. Barely near the population of Galloway, and they've been smashing their debt. The manner in which you messure usefulness, in that case, Fitz, I question quite the bit.

More so, that any player behind a character, can't take their head out of their characters arse, show's just what the problem is why RK. Players who take pleasure in player suffering. It's a game, time to grow up. Dry plays his character to the T, the boggyman of Galloway, and you lot down south can't even play a compelling good guy to make people like me go against Fury.

Years back, a good friend painted a picture to me of fury being good bad-guy roleplayers. I don't have anything wrong with people openly playing villains. It's admirable. I find NNGO admirable in that regard. That's not Dry though. Nor I think, many of his comrades.

I gradually came to believe the opposite about fury. For me, the biggest tipping point was when I started paying attention here, and reading some of the vulgar and revolting posts that Dry made towards me and others here. There's no difference with him. What you see is him as far as I am concerned, in and out of character.

So yes I do make the distinction. I don't have a problem with villain characters at all, with conflict or people being adverse to my character. I just have a problem with Dry's player, who I find to be a worthless piece of human garbage.

Indeed, Glasgow has been steadily reducing their debt for over a year, ever since the admins abolished the excessive corruption taxes

Galloway managed to squash their debt faster because 1. Galloway had less debt and 2. Galloway had more miners creating more profit

The idiot Galloway councilors all seem to hold the same delusion that they themselves reduced the debt, which is false. All the Galloway council did was simple maintenance, it's the miners that produced the vast majority of cash for their county.

A combination actually. Galloway has two gold mines, which are far more profitable than stone and iron mines, so it burns every bit of iron and stone anyone will give it, and keeps the iron sales to a minimum. It taxed to get out of debt, both on sales and jobs, which is not normal for Galloway's county council, which currently and normally collects no taxes from the citizens (in fact it gives weekly cash to the town halls) - except for tavern taxes which are consistently paid. There was also a large amount of donating happening, in the several thousands, and several thousand was earned through petitioning the admins over several months to see to a year-old ticket where resources were lost, that were then burnt into cash.

But that was over a year ago, and the 50k debt was brief - only created when the council at the time decided to stop taxing to stay in the positive given the game's declining outlook. As you say, a larger population, and as I say, good management of finances, has meant that Galloway has long been in a relatively good financial position. Even in 2010, Galloway was one of the first counties to begin rotating mines, before most of the English speaking world did so.

Once the excessive corruption taxes were dropped by the admins ( roughly 1.5 years ago, but I doubt you even remember this because you're retarded and clueless ), Galloway mines were bringing in 2000-3000+ of pure profit every week, I studied the mine numbers/trade minister and sheriff reports of both counties for a long time. All taxing accomplished was getting you out of debt a tiny bit faster. The vast majority of money created by the county, like I said, was from the mines. Your council is not wonder workers. Any idiot could with half a brain can run the mines or any other CC job, it's all just simple maintenance.

Some fools who don't pay attention might find your council to have done an impressive job, but I am not one of them.

I just took my handy calculator and went through the Sheriff reports. They began at -40k, not -50k, however I do have a graph I made on the 18th of May 2014 which shows that the debt on the 18th was -44,480.41.

Some fellow had an almost perfect streak of daily public sheriff reporting from -40k through to -5k. Have a guess who that amazing fellow is? You guessed me? Good guess! Well not really, I know I was the obvious choice, of course.

From -40k through to a positive treasury. Galloway received over 7,200 pounds between market and salary taxation. That's 18% of the debt and hardly not worthwhile.

Some amazing fellow uploaded all Sheriff and Mines reports in that period onto Google Drive and made the links public in his reports. Guess who did that.

So you claim something about my lies and instead of bringing any proof of your words, you suddenly do change the subject ?

If to talk about the debt, lets not forget that one of the reasons why Glasgow got it in the first place was Galloway's cooperation with Frets. Galloway back then made quite some money from the stuff looted from Glasgow. But in any way, its not that Galloway is richer county than Glasgow or that they did do something about the debt that would be worth talking about. Most of that was done by clones of Sheridan and other Cowbells anyways.
