Minos Legens helm offer

Anyone who has reached level 11* and is interested in a Minos Legens helm, please let me know and I'll get you hooked up.

Why? Because I want those that need one to have one (plus I need the slayers in Necro IV from tapestry runs).

The 20 extra hit points stack and the heavy fortification significantly reduces damage taken during battle.

The special thing about the helm is that it essentially gives you 20 free stackable HPs (very few items do in DDO).

For melees, it's hard to beat the Minos Legens helm until you start acquiring epic gear.

It's not a "must have" for non-melees, but it's still worth considering.



*Note that you must own the Necropolis IV adventure pack, be a VIP, or be at least level 13 on a guest pass (even though the helm is level 11) to get into Necro IV to obtain the helm. You also need 20 shreds of tapestry. What I am providing to those interested are the tapestries (if I have them) and a 90 minute guest pass (if needed).

Cool - you need bb or fw to smoothly navigate the Orchard.

Both my caster and FVS are level 20 and the XP for slayers, etc. only goes to level 19, so anyone running with me takes an XP hit (and lvl 20s of course are already capped).

Don't mind the company, but if you're not level 20, you might as well get the XP because there is a hell of a lot in the Orchard.

Lika has a few taps on her. I'll mail them to whoever needs them, just let me know.

I noticed your Minos Legens offer from back in January and I was wondering if you guys still farm these. I am a cleric on Sarlona named Craignish and I am very interested in acquiring one. Let me know if there is any way I can help you guys farming etc.. I am level 13/1 (C/ftr).

The problem might be that most of us are on Khyber. Come to Khyber!!

You should still come to Khyber

I currently have 40 tapestries, which is enough for 2 helms for NNGO guild members.

Probably the easiest and quickest way to farm taps is to hit up the 'zombie train' and the rats rares. These also help great with your slayers, because to kill the rare it requires killing a few dozen mobs.

As soon as you head into the Orchard, turn left and go down the ramp, keep going straight and jump down onto the path and follow that to the zombie train.

If it spawns, take care of the casters first. Blade barrier/firewall works excellent. Remember, once you 'kill' the wagons, a group of zombies spawn from them.

From there you can keep following that same path to the hill of bones. Once you can see the rats on top of the hill, you can actually tell from a distance if the rare is spawned or not. I believe you can only see 3 rats on top if no rare, but can see 4 if the rare is there.

My wizard would easily solo those two. As a cleric, I would recommend taking someone along with you, so that you can reset the instance quickly, but I am sure you can solo it as well. If you get a full group, might as well make a full tour of all the rares. It's good XP, the slayers and rares, and you can easily get 20 tapestries quickly this way.
