Stay Safe :(

I dont know where everyone lives, but those of you who are experiencing the frankenstorm, please stay safe! The news reports are making it sound very frightening. I'll be worrying over here in Europe about you.

There are a whole bunch of us here that are sitting ducks for this storm, so if we disappear just gotta hope its temporary.

To All here, I know some of you are in the thick of this. Stay smart and keep yourselves safe. My thoughts are with you all.

Anto and I are in central NY which was supposed to get hit pretty bad, but the storm went mainly south of us so we got some rain and it got breezy but nothing like the pouring rain and 50MPH winds they were predicting. All is fine here

we're ok, family downstate and in jersey got hit pretty hard. lots of destruction, hardly anyone with power.

Utility dudes cleared the trees from my road and restrung the wires this morning. Power is back, poor little sump pump spent all day pumping 14" (!) inches of water out of my basement. Sort of surprised it didn't burn itself out. Not a pretty sight down there, I see numerous trips to the dump in my future.

hey guys, relatively safe here. We had a bit of the storm in Rhode Island where I am right now, but the majority of the danger lies with my DI who just triple crowned us... Not having the best of days today because we've pretty much been stripped of all rank (what little we have in this place), embarrassed, and RPTed for 10 minutes in 3 sand pits. While being RPTed we had to scream "we are disgusting, we are heinous, we have no discipline" and so forth. I felt most bad because our DI is disappointed in our drill performance. *sighs* Just another few weeks...

Hmmm...some of the wires that were pulled down by the tree (including the comcast wire) were stretched and hanging low. Comcast just drove up towing a giant bolt of cable behind their truck.

...nothing good can come of this.
