When in France

Was just watching the scrolling little news while sitting in boring old Champagne, and through the stream of constant messages of election results, revolts and such, I saw the KAP in France wrote an article about the fine Celtic folks in Portugal right now! Not sure if any of you have seen it yet, of if any of you care, but here's the French and English version.

My French is shit but thankfully I got a lot of help from my friends that are much more intelligent, and know the language far better than I, so it should be readable lol. It still turned out shitty though. If anyone can help make the English Translation make more sense, be my guest.

On 11 February 1463, the Irish-Scottish armies took the city of Lisbon and even participated(?) in the election of Alcacer do Sal. They want to take over the county and all of its towns. He(?) asked the count of Lisbon to recognize its crimes and beg forgiveness. The Lisbonnese refused to surrender and their war carrack Aveiro sailed to Coimbra. The boat was sunk and the table was turned by the Celtic forces.

The ports are the next challenge and the French group fear for their boat. The Celtic Alliance proved they did not come to act as peacekeepers(?). Currently, two other War Carracks and a Genovese Warship were also destroyed at sea. Officially, the Alliance says CA keep hold of the County of Lisbon as the authors have not recognized their faults, and are hunting pirates(?).

Can France join the war and defend it's people? (Something else) We have no knowledge at the time(?), but French ambassadors are working on this(?)

Officiellement, l'Alliance Celtique déclare garder la main sur le comté de Lisbonne tant que les auteurs n'auront pas reconnu leurs fautes, pourchassé les pirates et promis de cesser leurs actes malveillants.

La France peut-elle participer au conflit et faire protéger les siens ? Pour l'instant, nous n'avons aucune information sur la position de celle-ci, à se demander même si la diplomatie française est au courant de cette affaire.
