What I am watching right now

I seen Avengers the other week and I'd be interested in knowing what you guys thought of it.
I liked it for the most part, but sometimes characters had like forced humour, people who were pretty serious had punchlines. And in general, there was a punchline or a pun almost every 2 minutes. 90% which were actually funny, but 10% were cringey. I didn't give a shit about the lack of character development for the two new characters which people seemed to mention online.
there were a few moments were I found myself thinking "Why didn't X just do this.. or that" but I think that comes with every movie.

yea, to be honest i am not really interested in the avengers or seeing yet another super hero movie. it all comes across as a cash grab lately.

i will admit, i did like guardians of the galaxy tho, but i really want to see hollywood get a bit more original. i say that with a bit of irony, as i await the next star wars movie...

im looking forward to the maze runner sequel coming out i think in september as well. i just read the trilogy and about to read the prequel, a light read but definitely entertaining.

Do you recommend Maze Runners? I had been thinking about that myself.

Fury Road was pretty awesome. Rare to see so many practical effects these days.

Fury Road was amazing. See it in 3D if you can--it was shot beautifully for it!

Definitely want to see Fury Road and have Penny Dreadful on my list too, that show looks interesting. Haven't seen or heard of Kung Fury tho, will have to look it up.

Finally broke down and watching the Soprano's from the beginning, almost on season 2 now. Orange is the New Black is coming back next friday on netflix, can't wait for that one!

Oh yeah, she's a pretty little thing ^^ Found it a little slow first couple shows, with the shrink and all, but now totally invested and my prime is about to run out lol >.< been on an italian kick, barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen hubby will come in (he's italian too, dark hair/skin, blue eyes...*fans self* haha) and I'll be all 'Sputare nel piatto dove si mangia!' (don't bite the hand that feeds you! sorta, something about spitting in his food, ahem...) and threaten him with a spatula and he's all 'You ain't no italian!' LOL it's his past time getting me going he better watch it, one of these days I'll go all native ninja on his ass

Anyone watch the fight?

Just watched the season finale of Humans. Great show, glad it got picked up for a second season.

Nice surprise, seems BBC production value is a lot better than what it used to be.

Aidan- if you are talking about Mayweather/Pacquiao; I didn't bother. I never liked Mayweather's fighting style, he fights like a bitch and makes it boring to watch. That, and boxing has declined so much over the past 15 years...

IIRC I was talking about the McGregor vs Mendez fight.
McGregor is an Irish guy who everyone either loves or hates cause he talks soo much shit, but has never lost a UFC fight.

The maypac fight was a joke, that really annoyed me and was made worse by the "real boxing fans found that to be pure brilliant" well fuck I guess 90% of your audience aren't real boxing fans from the reaction.

yea, boxing aint what it used to be, its practically dead. might as well stick with ufc, although i am not too familiar with it yet

Both shows my sci-fi loving hubby refers to as 'my black shows' lol but, I find them good fun for anyone that grew up hard and likes music

falling skies just ended, its probably for the best.

the first few seasons were great, but seasons 4 and 5 kinda fell off.

corny at times, but overall the show is pretty entertaining if you like sci fi

That was fast!? I watched a season and a half or two. (However much was released at the time) And it got real weird. I thought it would be great balance of sci fi and relatability, like GoT. I suppose I'll revisit that series now!

I got a Netflix login from a friend. So I watched season two and three of house of cards (I really like that show, not sure where season four could go) and also watched Gotham. and and also started(!) Season one of sons of anarchy

So, I just watched the first two episodes of the new "Fear the walking dead". Anyone else?

I quite enjoyed the new spin they're putting on it, though it certainly was a bit... Dull, at times. I can't comment too much on that though as even the classic Walking dead started off pretty poorly in my opinion. Still, zombie fans, give it a whirl!

Been watching regular tv lately, Family Channel, lol! Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Johnny Depp was on earlier, first time I'd actually seen it (missed most of it!) he's such an awesome actor, really did it justice imo.

Eh, I'd seen the first few shows of that too Jurias, having a hard time getting into it. I'm a TWD fan too and even that I'd had a hard time with this last season to stay into it. Idk, thinking it's just me lol.

At night I do watch Arrow, or hubby does...5min into it and I'm asleep, every. time.
