| Hello everyone, this topic is about which movie you find the best and why. So maybe we can discover a good unseen movie My favorite movie is Hot Fuzz (trailer) I have watched this film more then 20 times (really) and I still find him the funniest ever. It gives both humor, action and a little bit funny horror. The film if full of good jokes, both linguastic as visual, and it's one of the best English movies I've ever seen. | |

Wolverines!! Love that movie, but watching it now it is so dated. Heard they were going to make a reboot? If you liked 'Red Dawn', then check out: 'Tomorrow, when the war began'. Some movies you may not have seen, which are kick ass: Arlington Road Surviving the Game Dark City Sunshine 16 Blocks The Fountain I have a huge collection of movies, but these are some I can remember off the top of my head that aren't well known.

| Dumb and Dumber!
"PETEY DIDNT HAVE A HEAD" "Harry... I TOOK CARE OF IT"
To be honest, in real life, I use quotes from Dumb and Dumber, Cable Guy, and Ace Ventura movies in normal conversation.

| This is always an awkward discussion for me in real life. I only know a handful actors (mostly by name) and can't tell them apart from one movie to another. I also forget the name/plot of the movies I watch. So to some people, I'm a really horrible person. To be honest, there are very few movies I think are good. Of course, said that, I can't remember them . But I'm the kind of person while watching a movie cries out "what the fuck was that/that was ridiculous/so fucking unreal/looool/did I imagine that or did that really happen/I wanna kick the script writers arse. How hard can it be to make a decent plot without big logical flaws... yes, I get really annoyed when I watch movies. My favourite is the obligatory sex scenes. They seem misplaced and out of context at times. I don't like action as its way too fake, and drama makes me roll my eyes and want to punch the actors. I like some series but they're mostly about getting as much money before the audience tires. So there is never an actual ending. And just when you start to like it next thing you hear its been discontinued. I got really caught when I looked up the titles. Damn. I feel I need to re-watch some stuff like Underworld.. and stuff. I did like Fight Club for the messed up twist. LOTR for following much of the book, the scenery is absolutely stunning. Spirited Away for being crazy, beautiful and having a cool dragon. My Neighbour Totoro for the awesome cat bus. Howl's Moving Castle for the fire demon. Well made after Diana Wynne Jones' book. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind for some weird mind stuff but I can't remember the plot. ok ok I'll add Star Wars. Recently watched all of them. "Luke I'm your father" Donnie Darko for the rabbit. How to Train Your Dragon for obvious reasons. I loved the books, pissed off that Toothless (the dragon) was changed so much but the ending saved it for me. Ratatouille for the way the rats bums move so realistically. I was a pet rat owner when it came out. Let the Right One In for being a decent swedish movie, in fact the only swedish movie I liked. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children for the sexy silver hair. I never played the games so the plot makes little sense to me but its so beautiful. Edward Scissorhands for being so emotional. Van Helsing for looking badass. The Never Ending Story for Falkor the dragon who looks a bit like a cute dog. The Nightmare Before Christmas for the singing which I could tolerate. Willow for the dwarf and humor. Puss in Boots for the kitteh eyes. Shrek. Wall-E. Finding Nemo. Monsters INC. 9. Horton Hears a Who! Ice Age. Credits: IMBD top list to remember names | |

I actually think the 2nd movie is the best of mad max. The first one was ok, but the second really portrayed the post apocalypse really well. The 3rd one, I tried to watch it like 4 times now and can't get through it.

That is one of THE best movies I have seen in a very long time. I absolutely loved it and movies recently have been rather disappointing.

| City of God (2003), about a boy growing up around the Brazillian favela gangs in the 70's. It is an awesome watch. Probably my favourite film of all time.
Y tu mama tambien (2001), a mexican film that shows the story of two boys trying to woo a older woman on a road trip to the beach. It also shows the contrast between the working and middle classes in Mexican society rather well (I'm a film student, this sort of shit interests me...).
I'm a huge fan of latin american cinema.
