Been trying out a monk today, just the premade path for the shintao monk but ... OMG ... I finally understand why people love playing monks. Is the Reign of Madness pack worth getting? If you have it, have you replayed it for the fun of it, or just to get the cool summons? Currently priced at 360 TPs.

Asking because I got the Harbinger pack and was kinda disappointed in it.

Personally, I'm not that enamoured by it and I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't run the quests again and again, other than for the loot. The summons clicky isn't the only useful item, there are also some decent weapons and armour to be had!

Mmmm think I'll save the points for the new pack that comes with U11 then, or for the artificer class.

I find myself becoming more and more a fanboy haha

I like having all the packs myself, so I can run all the content when I feel like it. I'll wind up getting the new pack and class pretty much soon as it comes out as well. Well, then again, I might wait for a sale for the new class, because I am filled on character slots as it is.

I believe the pack you are asking about costs 350 points, which is the same as many other cheaper packs. Comparing that pack to other similar priced packs I'd say it comes out about even with them. Nothing too special.

What hasn't been pointed out though is the lack of content (that they are addressing) in higher levels, which this pack falls into. It is not a bad xp farm, and some of the loot is pretty good as well.

Just don't ask me to do the puzzle when I'm drunk haha

I love this pack...it's entertaining, there are some decent challenges and hidden things and yes, the items are pretty nice. Think it has to be one of my favorite sets to run and managed to run it till I got the 90% penalty on one of my toons lol

It sounds like it's under discussion. Perhaps store bought tomes will disappear and raid tomes will stick during a TR? Or maybe only +4 will stick? Or perhaps they figure, "Hey, let's let them keep the tome stats and then sell them in the store. Muahahaha moneyyyyyyyyyyy!"
