How to roll dice on this forum:

Right now, we only have 1d6 (a six sided die) and a 1d20 (a twenty sided die) available. More can be added later.

To roll a dice, you have to use the 'Post Reply' function. The quick reply will not work.

Below the message body, is a section entitled: 'Dice Roll'. It may be minimized.

Hit the + sign to maximize the bar and open the dice roll.

Then, select the dice you want to use, and how many times you wish to roll the dice, and hit send! The dice roll will create its own post, and show the results of your roll.

Any problems let me know!

Example:

I think I will change the 1d20 picture so its less confusing, its the same color and dice as the result. I'll get right on it.

yes, this way people can't just 'keep rolling' over and over until they get the best rolls

ok i changed the color of the 1d20

also, stumbled on a very cool feature. when i clicked to post, this came up:

"A new message has been posted while you were writing your response. Please
review the new message posted below and decide if you want to modify
your response or continue posting as written."

So if someone posts while you are writing your post, it will give you the option to modify your post before sending it!

there is post reply at top and bottom of pages

Hmm, something I can't figure out..

The thanks button doesnt seem to appear in all the forums, dont know why.

Also, the thanks button is unrelated to the voting button. under the edit button there is a plus and a minus, so you can vote for posts positively or negatively. not totally sure what that means yet

This should be for reputation. It has to do with quality versus spam withing a thread. +1 for quality... like a "right on/well said/ya what they said" and -1 for "r u fukn even reading the same thread?/STFU/spam".

Is there/Can we get... an OOC location for RK stuff n politics.

A hot topic is PEACE in Ireland and the perceived clones/irl friends issue.

Might be nice to have place to discuss that and to discuss other RP/game issues.

I like this idea, makes sense to have someplace to discuss OOC as well as the RP areas.
