| Whenever people here mention doing something drastic (jumping off a bridge), I want to fly to them, jump on them so they never do it (which I realize could possibly exacerbate the situation ) But seriously. Like Donnor said. Ya'll are a certain kind of family. I want everyone to be safe and happy (myself included...if anyone finds the secret to those things, lemme know!!). I am really glad things are looking up, Bekah. That situation sounds mega stressful and would trigger anyone into a depressive state. And what you say is true- that fucking black cloud that seems to appear and follow us around does indeed dissipate. Eventually. And never as fast as we would like, but it does happen. Also, side note (or not, it is relative I guess)---have you ever noticed that when you are feeling clear headed, you learn from your therapist or read in books how to handle anxiety/depression--be it through exercise, meditation, deep belly breathing, art, surrounding yourself in nature, pharmaceuticals, whatever. Then when the cloud rolls in and you are fully immersed in high anxiety and/or the trenches of depressive hell, you forget everything you learned on how to manage your emotions??? I really hope it isn't just me. Misery sure does love company. For what it is worth, I have been feeling pretty good lately. Anxiety is in check! | |

| It makes me mad that Trinity's other half is being mean!!! Off sick today 1 day, voice has gone and prior written communication isn't allowed even though it is the time I'd wake up and enough notice to say that I'm back in tomorrow regardless of feeling unwell yesterday. Was made to call in, embarrassingly not being able to speak much and this chap answers who is apparently a year younger than me, lol he was sitting next to me when bored yesterday and making conversations I reallly didn't want to have then | |

| As a bonus for Valentines Day, I tore up a 20 foot section of yard of growing grass just to plant some flowers and several dragonfruit cacti. What a lovely day. Things we do... for some reason or other.

| It needs more bloodshed, weapons, violence, action, the outfits looked good though! Maybe if it was a 18+ also clicking everyday for years lame. Am on a mission, needta start thinking of tying the knot with something to make babies with that isn't just a pretty face, that can supply me with enough games consoles to keep me unbored whilst sipping strawberry cider and Corona | |

| Whatever countries everyone is from, do you guys get paid overtime as fulltime permanent employees? Here we don't, only as temporary/ contracted agency staff if paid hourly. Some places allow contract negotiations i.e agree more hours for more pay otherwise part-time but genrally very uncommon to do so

| In Hawaii it depends on the business. Usually paid overtime is expected if over 40 hours. Case by case for temporary / permanent / part time work. Big companies tend to be nice about that, so they try really hard to avoid someone overing 40 hours. Yay, capitalism.

| Oops, I edited. That seems nice we don't get paid breaks. Public sector has hardly many hours and less targets. In private, it is another story. I'm in an industry where opt out hours are the norm and luckily it is openly allowed for relationships at work to happen, commomly as there's no time to have a life, usually elsewhere it is frowned upon | |

| In the U.S. it generally depends on the state. In PA Im pretty sure if you work more than 80 hours in 2 weeks you are required to get time and a half for everything over. Generally businesses avoid doing it though as it is expensive lol
That only applies to hourly workers though, not salaried. But depending on the job some people are still hourly even though it is their career, mostly in manufacturing though Id say.
Im pretty sure relationships are usually frowned upon, but I guess it depends on the company?

| In PA, anything over 40 hours a week is time and a half but yes open relationships with almost every company(unless you were previously in a relationship with the person you are working with) is frowned upon and can get you fired. | |

| Yeah? That may be it, I had heard it used to be two weeks but maybe thats changed. I know kenneywood doesn't pay any over time They just pay the fees to the state for ignoring it. | |

| Alot of places in South West PA(like walmart) have made it so you can no longer get overtime, and if by some chance you get a disciplinary notice you gotta clock out at the end of exactly 8 hours. Its gotten crazy. | |

| If you work for a temp agency, on a farm, if you do seasonal labor, or are paid a salary or stipend: your employer is not required to pay you overtime no matter where in the USA you are. | |

| Im pretty sure that is a federal law that says they are not required to federally, but I am pretty sure that states can still require it. | |

| You'd be surprised. I took the DoL to court once and lost.
Labor laws in the USA are a joke.
Edit to add: I know most all of the NY laws, and I can't believe that PA would have better labor protection than NY. My state is typically leaps and bounds ahead of other states in labor law, NY is a liberal worker-rights state; and our laws are awful here and aren't enough.
I would be surprised if another state had better wage laws. Not that I can't be wrong tho.
