It's supposed to be winter here in Aus but in true Aussie fashion we've actually have the past few days of above 20 degrees days. Europeans classify that as a heatwave, don't they? That, lovely lady, is the Florida Gulf Coast. High of 90 F - 32.2 C for the rest of the world. With the heat index it was 98/36.6. At least the humidity was relatively low @ 61% instead of 90's. Still hot though. O_O

| Actually Ahlia, I have come from a place where the air temperature is higher than Europe and I used to laugh at what they used to call hot, but I have found out that dry heat (like you find mainly in places like Australia and where I have lived; Botswana and the South African Highlands) is much more bearable than a humid heat (like that found in the tropics and in Europe). I would rather have an air temperature of 45 degrees C and no humidity than air temperature of 24 degrees C and 90% humidity. Having experienced both, I know which one is preferable. On that note, Summertime in England really does make me feel homesick, even after all this time. I think that feeling will never go away. But yeah, humidity is far worse than heat, it seems to sap your energy somehow. Still, its fun to laugh at the poms at any time of the year (least it is for me haha!) | |

| lol Bekah! and no doubt! Today, here, we have a 'heat advisory' basically not to go out unless you have to, very dangerous for small one's and the elderly. Basically it's 96*F + humidity = making it over 100*F. Thank goodness I have air conditioning, just going outside to take the dog's out potties and it takes my breath away, even the doggies don't want to stay out long at all. They're all sprawled out on the cool kitchen tile right now as we speak haha. I would be too if it weren't for the fact that if I did I'd prolly not be able to get back up again lol. | |

| Don't worry I've been in the hole for a while, you're welcome to join me. I've built a pillow fort and baked a massive, gooey chocolate mudcake. We can watch movies and devour it together. | |

| Thanks Frannie :)Just been one of those weeks from hell and today was just horrible (funeral). So totally exhausted but can't sleep, laid down tho for a couple hours and feel a little better. That sounds absolutely awesome Ahlia! Did bust out some cookies and cream icecream last night and watched Tomb Raider (the first one) again! :PThat helped quite a bit, just let myself be 'blah' for a while. Trying to get into a 'blah' state of mind again...hoping for sleep.
BTW, Morgan, cool rifle there! what the specs on it? Hubby was just talking about taking me out for a spin on the motorcycle, dinner, and out to the range! Can't wait, that's my kinda date ^^ haha

Thank yah! Sounds like my kinda date as well. I do hope things get better for you, love. The rifle is a Russian Mosin Nagant. Uses 7.62x52R ammo. You can pick 'em up cheap because it's all surplus. The 'mystery' boxes, which this one was in, were $130-140 I think. You get what you get and I happened to get a good one. They all come with the bayonet, strap, tool kit, ammo pouches and a little canteen. The REALLY fun part is cleaning all of the cosmoline off and out of them. They absolutely slathered those rifles with it to preserve them. It's still an excellent deal but be prepared to get all nasty gooey if you get one. XD

| I had a bitching headache and was super sleepy all day. And like magic- I took my final exam, thus finishing my first year of Graduate school and voila! Headache gone and now I am energized! Two week summer "break" is upon me before starting up year two!
Just gotta do that one more time and I am done! Wee!

| Not been very well recently - vitamin D deficiency adding to my usual day to day struggle and triggering a deep depression. Bipolar has these ups and downs, usually I cope pretty well with them, but hell, how much more can go wrong before a person snaps right?
So bright arse over here, chooses this time to watch the latest Les Miserables film. I love the music and I know the story well, so I know what to expect. Except no, near the end (won't spoil for those who don't know the story, but it's a smidge sad) me, who hasn't shed a single tear in years (emotional detachment is the clinical term I believe) starts crying, just a couple of tears, until whammo, I am full on sobbing my heart out and can't stop. Ten minutes of this and I finally pull myself together and have a chance to wonder what the hell that was all about.
Funny thing is, I do feel better about things now. I figure I am just odd. Really odd.
hmm ..... | |

| Got my Leaving Cert results this morning... The one's which decide on me getting into college or not.. I passed Irish, which was imho a guaranteed fail for me, BUT I PASSED. (failing Irish prevents you getting into A LOT of good colleges) Passed everything actually. 1B, 5C's & a D. Quite happy indeed. BRING ON TONIGHT | |

| Well done Aidann Aaaand! I just had a major freak out! I was staring at the screen and reading something, when a spider runs across the screen. I think, naively, that this is some new internet prank which I tend to fall for more often than not (but who hasn't been rickrolled right?) So I lean in for a closer to look to see how its done and NO WAY!!!! That sucker is real!! So cue me running away and squealing like a girl (as I am a girl, squealing in this fashion is perfectly acceptable ). Thing is, spider wasn't really that big either, just too close for comfort. Or maybe one creep crawly too much for me after I have spent all afternoon removing green caterpillars from my herbs? How dare they eat my food. Worse thought, what if I hadn't noticed them and then seasoned my dinner with one? Okay, off to be sick now .... | |
