Need to stop watching triggering shit, though very impressed with Eminem's growth as an artist.

i used to like eminem when he first came out, now i fuckin hate him
its not his music either, his entire style/persona is not authentic; and he had this one great big chance to pave the way and open the door for many aspiring non-black hip hop artists..
but what he do? me me me me me, all about me; another hyped up vanilla ice fuck face selfish prick who i would take a box cutter to his fucking face and take all his loot if he came around my neighborhood. fake wannabe piece of shit like that, i hope he gets shot.
he has some talent, but all he is = white hype

Ah, I haven't followed his persona or really music much at all, really. My only access to music is the radio and internet and I avoid the Top 40 stuff the past few years. But remember way back when, where everyone was all, "Oh shit, he's white? I thought he was black."
I think regardless of what he's been doing, I think he still helped white people a lot. It's been years since I've heard someone be called a wigger, even though I can point to neighborhoods full of 'em. He's at least proven that white people can rhyme. Sure there's Beastie Boys and House of Pain but where have they been lately?
Vanilla Ice only came out with one single before he became a laughing stock. And remember Snow? Eminem's come a long way. Whether you like him or not, there's enough people that take him seriously, so there's room for more white rappers. I would effin love it if another white rapper came out and outdid his progress.
But I get what you mean about being frustrated with people's personas. I think the less I know about an actor/singer, the more I can enjoy them.

Wow!! Tell us how you really feel! I like the Old Eminem. I think it all went to his head, but I still like some of his songs still. Just not like before.
And wow, Elois...Snow? Taking me way back. I actually liked that song.
But the real white person.....who did wonders for "crossing over." The late great Teena Marie! No freaking auto-tune like these wannabe singers these days!
Possibly my favorite song by her (& Rick). Honestly, I have way too many favs from her. She comes in at 3:40.
Talking about smoking weed. She was so cute if you get past the person taping it laughing and making comments.
Damn...it's Charlie Sheen night and I'm hooked on youtube! Thank goodness for a DVR.

In hindsight, Hansen wasn't really that bad. The fact that they played MMMbop on the radio 90 times a day is what made people want to blow their brains out just to be put out their misery.
Saw Spice World once. Left the theater not knowing what way was north anymore. O.o Needed help walking home. Just say no.
