Yuck, that was the biggest centipede I've ever seen; I was afraid to even try to kill it. I opened a box of Christmas stuff and put a stocking on my hand like a glove, then smashed it with a wad of paper towels.

Sometimes I'm walking and thinking of this topic when we talked about J-walking, I wouldn't survive if we had that as I practically speed everywhere whilst being careful ofcourse. Walking for me is like tactical driving on foot, around slow-walkers etc. It bewilders me at times when there's no vehicles coming yet people don't cross and instead wait on the traffic light, I just think meh tourists? It stops me to presume that it may not be safe to cross, oh wait it is but people are standing waiting and sometimes without pressing the button

Yes, well there is the opposite side of the coin, those people who walk across everywhere and it takes all of your energy not to hit them and save the gene pool of morons that might spread all kinds of the stupid gene into the mix that is humanity. I see it all the time, and I am still amazed at everyone still doing that J-walking after another person got literally smeared and ground into the road two hours ago, they know about it, horrified, and then just go and continue their idiocy.
It isn't pretty.

That is because idiocy spreads like a virus, a virus that is being left untreated and killing people by the hundreds.
