NNGO Guild+ channel

Ok, so last night couple people approach me wondering if we'd be interested in a guild alliance. Now, we've already really discussed this, so I am not trying to re-open an old can of worms here; but what if we made a channel?

Unless many of you have changed your mind from the last thread, and are open to an alliance? Doesn't matter to me either way.

But apart from an alliance, what do you think about joining this channel, and possibly making one of our own?

I know that all NNGO members are welcome in any Blackout/Kinghts of Carnage runs because I've been running quite a lot with them recently and they consider us to be a friendly guild.

There are some really good guys and players in those two guilds (one or two difficult characters, but that is to be expected...) and they are willing to help out on raids and to gear people out - I've given them a scroll or two and been lucky enough to get a scroll or two in return and when Gilders did his 80th ToD over half of the group was made up with members of our 3 guilds.

They have a Ventrillo channel, which I'd urge the regular chatters to think about using! It's so much better than IG chat - no latency, much clearer and you can organise things quickly without having to be in party with each other! If you are interested in Vent, speak to poguemahon from Kngiths of Carnage as it's his channel and their is limited space in terms of how many people can use it! We already have our own room there for chatting and Jaayse even has a private quiet room although at the moment we are the only 2 from NNGO with access...

I would probably try it, but I doubt I would use it much.
Honestly, some people are just too chatty for me, even with just the regular game voice chat.

Sometimes, I wish people would just stfu a bit.

Although, once or twice a week I might be in a chatty mood myself, who knows. To each their own.

Your funny. Personally I don't like "voice"....I like to play games without getting too much into the lives of people. Just makes it more fun and I get less drama this way I just play to have fun not get sucked into others RL issues

Ah pogue, yeah seen him hanging around on our ship. Its cool that you're branching out to make contacts that'll help you progress =)

I'm not currently a hardcore player though, so won't be downloading Vent for this purpose. If I was looking to do daily epic runs/raids, I'd probably think differently, but I think I'm on that casual player slide right now.

Pogue is a really good guy - quiet, calm and helpful, so there are no worries with him.

As for the channel, there are channels, within the channel - one of them is Jaayse's quiet room and another is the AFK channel and there is also a quiet room. You can therefore choose where to be and not have to talk or listen to anyone

I've been on Pogues vent channel for a while... honestly, I really prefer the ddo chat... that other thing gets way too loud. And well... its a pita juggling vent and ddo chat... at least for me.

And Anto, we need you chatty again... I miss our talks

Yeah but I have no reason to just be there ... I'm not a networky type of person. Thanks for the heads up on it all though
