James, sadly, in their houses chests will reset.

Elois, you have several options if killed someone - kill them silently and kill all witnesses (this way no bounty), you can pay your fine, you can bribe guards (if you friends with thieves guild), you can go to the prison and run out of there. If guards keep attacking you, try re-hiding your weapons.

In TES III there were conflicts between the groups (Great Houses and also conflict between guilds of thieves and fighters).

BTW, there's a way, on PC, to level up your followers. Apparently the game has it setup where the first time you use a follower is what level they stay. I for one intend to use the same follower till endgame, or at least have the option to.

Im loving the game, just got the two achievements (earn 100k gold and earn 1k bounty in all nine holds) my current favourite save is my khajit at like lvl 45 and i treated him to 100 smithing so he'll be rolling out some smooth dragonscale armor pretty soon.
Then ill just restore the thieves guild to it formor glory (another trophy) and then join the mages college where'll ill grab the last fragment thing. weeeeee

And Elois, she's one of my favourite DB member but thats only cause my first guy was a dark elf and other stuffs.

I don't even think I'm going to do the Thieves' quests. I did one, where I completely stealthed, undetected and was given absolutely no indication I'd done anything wrong, and it said I failed when I got back to Vex. Some crap about how the client doesn't like being associated with thieves or some junk. Also...I just don't like the guild all that much. Too much attitude.

Dark Brotherhood is more saucy, and that whole Dark Mother thing is bizarre as hell. I love it.

im lovin' the whole sneaky thief look, when my sneak was only at fifty i was sooo OP. with an iron dagger that does like 10 damage I could do 150 damage and thats not even a power attack, right not I do 1533 with an ordinary one-handed sneak attack, if it was with two of them the number doubles and if its a power attack then i could survive an arrow in the knee.


Aww that was terrible. So much shame..

How do you figure out how much HP was taken? Using a mod? All I see are HP bars but no numbers.

Got closed beta key for this game, if anybody wants it. Looks like some sort of Evony meets Eve sort of game. Not my thing.

no mod, just base damage and buffs & perks.


look at the right-hand side of the "sneak" perks, at lvl 50 sneak you can do 15 times damage with a dagger sneak attack, i have gloves that double sneak attack damage so its 30 times damage, and with my smithing skill now at 'higher than legendary' my current dagger does 1,980 damage with a single swipe and its not even a power attack xD

Didn't want to go on about it in the Skyrim thread, but man; the original Wing Commander for the SNES was one of the best games ever made.

The graphics and controls for a space flight sim at that time was great, the story was amazing, and climbing the ranks and choosing your missions (which were always different) were a blast.

I actually tried one of the later, PC versions of WC and was very disappointed.

I've heard of some games that tried to expand upon a lot of it, with other aspects of simulation like trade/life and never got to try any of them.

But yea, SNES Wing Commander, what a great fucking game.

I promised myself to never play another MMORPG after 5 years of WoW. Even when being sent free trial keys from friends who play. Must... resist...

Finding myself frustrated again. Not in the mood for Skyrim. Not in the mood for any of my games that have young characters or cheerful Asian music. And then on the other side, not in a dark enough mood for anything Shin Megami Tensei. I tried playing Chrono Cross today and between the old graphics, teenage romance and music, it took me 5 minutes to put it down, even though I have better memories of playing it years ago.
