I would love to say that yes I figured it out, but the truth is, my boyfriend had to show me how. It is a great feature though so now when I am cooking I am scanning all the food as it goes into a recipe. My boyfriend asked what will I do when all my clothes no longer fit and my answer? Easy, buy new ones!

Life is really trying hard to get at me it seems. I'm a pretty complacent guy, there's a lot that's happened that should get me down but I just kinda get past it because what's the point of whining when you can't change anything, right? Well an old friend of mine I met on a trip a few years back died in a car crash this weekend and I just heard, and I have nobody to talk to about it and get my emotions sorted. Just going to listen to some Earth and try to fall asleep.

So sorry to hear that The thing that helps me in these situations is bringing back the good memories and looking at pictures taken of that person. Dunno if its helping, but it gives me the opportunity to get to terms with the facts. Big hug to you!

Update on my health. I have anemia now, so I'm going to a bunch of doctors and intend to get my fibroids removed soon, by whatever means necessary. Had enough of this shit. LOL.

Still enjoying Second Life, as it's the only life I have energy for at this point. Went the other direction and became a vampire. Enjoying it so far. Better people, better parties, and my liege is Spanish, so I get to practice that.

Life can be so frustrating at times.  The beginning of this year I was told that I was getting a roofing assessment done and that contractors would be coming round between 9am and 5 pm.  This came with the usual "if you have a problem please ring ..."  I did have a problem with this as it turned out so I rang them up and scheduled an appointment for a different day.  That day rolls around and I wait in ALL day for them, and they don't turn up.  There is naturally also no phone call explaining why they didn't bother to turn up.  My feelings on that was to shrug and say 'fuck 'em'.

So yesterday I am out all day, come home and there is a letter waiting for me stating:

"We called to see you ... Sadly you were not home.

It is really important we meet with you ...

Make sure you are home on ...."

What the fuck?  It is my fault you turn up randomly at my house a month after you missed an appointment with me and now I MUST make myself available to you?  The chances of that happening are somewhere between fat and slim because the day you have chosen is inconvenient for me for the same reason the last randomly assigned day was inconvenient - I will be at my regular pain therapy session!  So my choices are: to wait in and miss my appointment or attend my appointment and miss them.  I choose courtesy over all so I ring the number they have provided.  This is where it gets even better.

"The person you are trying to reach is on annual leave, may we get someone to call you on Monday?"

No! You dumb fuck, because Monday is the day you will be randomly calling at my home and I will not be there!

All this for an assessment I never asked for ....

Soooo typical...it's all about getting their own schedules full, but not caring ór listening to their clients.
