I've gotten quite fond of epic questing lately. However i notice we don't yet have the tools to make an all NNGO epic group.
The perfect group recipe for epics:
1 healer 1 crowd control caster (firewall is not your friend in epic!) 4 melee
We seem to be missing that 1 caster!
Now, I have a 14 wizard who is being spec'ed for crowd control. His DC right now sits at 30 without any items to boost. By the time he hits 20 he should be ready to go.
My ranger is still being twinked, but he is more than epic viable. With dual green steel heavy picks (+5's with a X4 critical multiplier) he does supreme damage against any auto crit mob: around 450-600 damage per second. Once he gets the 3rd tier done on those heavy picks I'll have to upload a video, it will be amazing.
I am curious as to how the rest of the guild feels about epics. I ran with Gilders before, he seemed to like it. Some quests are easy, like Big Top, in which you mostly do invisible running and sneaking to the end boss; some are fuck off hard, like Wiz King, which is just painful to even think about.
What you guys think?

I'd like to do more but they scare me lol. Big Top is a walk in the park, as long as I can manage the jump in the middle...
I really need to do Epic VoN because it's the only chance I'll ever have of getting that Epic Sword of Shadows, but I'm still yet to even get a completion on norm :s

Been doing a lot of solo epic scroll farming on the wizard, no luck yet. If anyone would like to come along they are most welcome.

Took Tod and Zog on my Wiz King epic scroll farm, was a lot of fun guys, thanks for coming!
I pulled 2 scrolls, sirocco and mummy wrappings
Tod pulled Firestorm Greaves scroll, and Zog pulled Dusk Heart scroll!
I think I am going to keep the sirocco scroll too, it looks bad ass:

supposedly there is an easy chest or two in epic dq1, want to check that out.
also heard that the chest in the first room of wiz king can drop on occasion seals, makes me wonder if the chest at the bottom can also drop them.
i found that farming the first room in the last stand (house d sentinels pack) is super easy, but its a bit boring to do with a hireling.
i like running epics, even just to farm, its a nice change of pace from shroud or xp farming ad infinitum. plus, its a nice way to get epic items!
is too bad we dont have any other casters that are capped in our guild until jill gets hers up. seems the casters really shine in epic, but every class certainly is viable.
looking forward to running with whoever wants to come again sometime. epic farming is not something i really want to do with a pug, would rather one of us pulled the items one of us would want or need.

It's also a chest that anyone can pull stuff out of even if they weren't in the group at the time it was opened. So if you find a good seal you already have, you can invite a buddy into your group to come loot it.
make sure to check that chest with the crest in wiz king

Happy to do some more epic questing/scroll farming - I did enjoy seeing how far we could get in wiz king, but appreciate its more efficient if the goal is to farm scrolls to recall out and start again after a particular point.

Ya I really enjoyed the challenge and running around with the guild. We did amazingly well seeing as we didn't go into it with the aim of completing and some of those scrolls are shmexy!
