So... my brother and I applied for the Amazing Race Canada.We had to make a 3 min video talking about us, our relationship and why we want to be on it...it totally sucked. In the written part they asked what they needed to know about us, so I added we make really bad videos, but would be awesome on your show...hope that works. Silly thing to want, but I know that Dal and I would so kick ass on that...he isn't retarded (well mostly not) and he will do gross stuff plus...I wouldn't want to kill him due to lack of sleep. He's the only person I can say that about.

Anyone who can, feel free to work their voodoo magic, pull strings at CTV, protest out in the snow... so they pick out entry.

Was literally bed ridden for about 36 hours. I feel a lot better now, well, not really; but at least I don't feel like death. My sinuses are killen me though, about to crawl back into the bed for a bit now.

You are very welcome and I can imagine how you're feeling, had it once last year and a minor form of it earlier this cold season. It downright sucks bad. Annnnd....hmm...I decided to read today...see I have a library of books....its sad I know, but I like reading. So got out an old series I have had for years, literally my favourite author because of his writing style and the way he tells a tale.

The series is called "Corean Chronicles" its a fantasy series written by L.E. Modesitt Jr. Finished the first book, "Legacies" like 15 mins ago, going for the second. Got 6 more to go! Wish me luck!

So yesterday I went to some Lady's MANSION to help do some minor catering shtuff. I nearly burst out laughing when I seen it... Sitting in the Drawing Room.. is her Husband who was literally in the real life version of that synthesised scenario above.

Sitting by the crackling fire, reading his book with a glass of wine. A grand piano sitting behind his chair. To the left was a huge window onlooking the ocean with a light winter rain falling. Oh and a weird jazzing music coming from his iPad  

Man, some peeps have it good. Closest I can get to that is sitting on my pc chair, with a fireplace screensaver on, reading an ebook and sipping my alcohol free bevie. Man! I want a mansion too!   

So I went to the beach today and got dunked by a massive wave in the first 10 minutes (I'm small okay) and decided to sit out for a bit then my friend came back for me and dragged me back and then she found a hermit crab frolicking in the shore, then we kept finding them so we started collecting them and put them in bottles of sand and seawater and we were like hey let's take them home and we did

Long story short I now own about 40 hermit crabs.

Um. Wut.

Label 20 of their shells NNGO. Label the other 20 England. Let them fight to the death. Problem solved!

 Now....the big question: RP, IG or OOC?

That moment somewhere between when in the morning the 7 year old says "Yay, I love acid toads" and then 10 hours later she is singing along to Quiet Riot "Cum on feel the noise"

Those things are cool as shit Ahlia, had two of them growing up, was cool watching them switch shells. You got quite the horde for sure! haha

I have names for a few. Theres one with a red shell I've called zoidberg, one that plays king of the hill and I've called him John, the biggest one is gigantor, there's one with an awesome zigzag shell called Spartacus....

Just stopping in to say hi. Life is a little more under control now so I thought I'd come back but there isn't a single person in An Gort who I know. Since I gave all my stuff to the town before I went on retreat just in case I wasn't able to come back, I have nothing. So nothing to my name and no friends around, I guess I'm going to just stay in retreat for now and try again down the road maybe.

Crab traps are baited and overboard, a piece of tasty shrimp is on the hook and has been cast upon the waters. Now all I have to do is be patient and wait and perhaps I'll have delicious seafood for supper.

Was going to go on another spanish holiday this summer, but then we decided to go on a semi-impromptu holiday to Galway..

So tomorrow morning I'll be off on a train to galway. I would of been already there today like everyone else is but due to my jobseekers allowance cheque only being on a Tuesday I can't miss it or theyll cut me off. So tomorrow morning Im gonna collect and it ride that train potentially drunk off my ass (I'll have a lot of drink, so if I make friends on this train NO ONE will be sober)..

3 inches of snow...11 and a half hour later I'm home. Dear Atlanta, when it snows it helps to plow and put down salt and not let the streets turn to sheets of ice.
