Well in my point of view, with the modern invention ( the war ships) we are going have several problems , it just a matter of time. The only way to face this to unify our isles. What are the several problems with warships? If they worry you, stay of the sea, problem solved. It simply adds another dimension to our world in my opinion.
Now y'all should remember that when Angel and Tosher comment and say Scotland, they don't actually mean Scotland... That would include Galloway... And since those two can't see beyond Glasgow then that's actually what they're saying...
A sentence like: "Are you honestly suggesting an alliance between England and Scotland?" Actually reads "Are you honestly suggesting an alliance between England and Glasgow?" And that seems unlikely UNLESS you, England, somehow manage to allow Angel, Tosher and Dry to be in charge or everything and let them run the whole place like Glasgow, which means exile for all who dares oppose them...
