Worst part is there's not a store around here that's not got just valentines day cakes already made or stupid shit. Feel like crawling in a hole.

Deep breath, in and out. And again.
Is the cake too wet or too dry? Either can cause them to crumble. Maybe you just measured wrong. Either way if you don't have time to make another one, get an ice cream cake. They always have those. If not in a super market, try a local ice cream place.
*hugs* Hang in there, you'll get through this.

| Cut it up and make it into teensy tiny mini cakes if it won't stick together anyway? | |

| It was horrible, there was nothing I could do with it, just kept crumbling and falling apart the icing you couldn't even spread it without the cake coming apart. Tried for over an hour and a half before I finally just lost it. Thinking maybe I did Springy *hugs* Kiddo's party is tomorrow and I'm just numb right now. No gas, no money but I have absolutely everything else for it. Called hubby and of course he was no help, just made me feel worse. Love that idea Frannie! and Kair, Bekah hoping maybe I can pull something off before then. Kiddo just got home a few minutes ago and the first thing he said was that he couldn't wait for his party tomorrow, obviously I didn't say anything just smiled and kissed his forehead. Swear to gawd >.< when I know I'm not going to break down all over again going to give my Gran a call...thank you ladies so very much, have no idea how much it means to me. | |

| If you have the ingredients left, then take a couple of hours to settle down. Then measure all the the ingredients into separate cups, bowls, etc. Check and recheck you have everything measured, and didn't skip any of the ingredients. Â I've done that. Â Once I made baked mac and cheese, and forgot the milk. Â OMG! Â It came out a solid mass of gummy cheese. Then mix it up, and go slow, put the stuff in according to the recipe. Â Don't rush, maybe play some relaxing music while you do it. Then bake it and leave it be (no sneaking peaks opening the oven, you don't want the cake to fall!) You will see it will come out just fine. Â If not tell me the ingredients you have and I'll find a recipe for a nice cake that's easy to make. *hugs* | |

| Triiinnn huuugsss!! <3 <3 The party's not until tomorrow, so you'll have time for the cake even if you have a million other things to do. Just start with these other things tonight and make the cake once you've regained your cake-baking confidence! Thinking of you! Wish I was a few thousand miles closer so I could help lol, but since I'm not, I can only offer you a bit of virtual positiveness! <3 Don't worry! Get your hubby to buy you new ingredients, if at all possible. Or make a big cake out of minicakes? I've also been at dinners where instead of having one huge cake, there were multiple desserts like: fruits and liquid chocolate, fruit tarts (you can make the tart biscuit out of butter, flour and sugar. Brother's fiancée made it today and it didn't take long or seem complicated at all! I could ask for details if you want!), standard cake with decent icing, minicakes, cupcakes, jello, etc. People who posted here seem to know quite a bit about baking (unlike me), so their suggestions will probably work, too! Listen to some music while cooking. This is my cheesy, feel-better song, in case it helps. ^^ | |

| Having you ladies come help would have been awesome! hehe You know, I broke down not just because of the cake, I mean, it tipped the iceberg, just a lot going on too underneath. Anyway... Here's what I was dealing with earlier: Was able to talk hubby into bringing home a box of brownies (they were on sale for a dollar! wooo!) I had everything else already and made just needed the 'dirt'. It's not finished but it's going on 2am and all I have left is put on the little figures and the candles. (fixed the crooked tree after I took the pic!) | |

| It looks great! I love brownies. Looking at the pic I think the cake was too dry. Maybe you missed or shorted the eggs, shortening or oil (or even milk, if called for)? It's just so easy to skip an ingredient. Brownies are usually moist, so they would be a great choice for what you are trying to do with the design. They stick together and won't crumble. If you need a good brownie recipe for another time, I think I have one somewhere (I hid it because I was making and eating them too much (hubby and I were gaining too much weight), but I'm sure if I hunt carefully, I can find it, just have to hide it again after, well maybe I'll make 1 batch. lol) I'm so glad you got it worked out. The kids will love it! *hugs* | |

| Its because, Eurovision is doing what? 75 years old of show and Australia is the biggest country that watches Eurovision and they are guests invited for the 75 years of Eurovision Cordiality. | |
