omg how sweet we have a navigator now!!!

Glad you like the navigator - it's semi-useful but it gets you to Meridia with buffs!

I added some new crew and amenities just for fun.

If you're an officer, then feel free to add you own (or even replace them if they are not needed).

All I ask is please don't replace the Gold Seal ones until their time has expired (currently the experience shrine, the banker, and the trap workstation).

Same. I have a question maybe you can answer then... The first time I downloaded it, it was corrupted - apparently I wasn't able to download the whole thing with turbine... I tried again, many other times after erasing it from my laptop, but it still won't download the game correctly. I read through all the "HELP" sections on the DDO site... still no good.

Anything I can try to finally get this game downloaded?

Sorry, not techie minded, although it took me a long time it downloaded fine.

are you using the full installer?

dont use the small install, use the full one..

ill look into what i can and ask around, people are very helpful

Yeah, I buggered up the whole thing at first... The first time I did the small install. When I went to download the full one, it was on a bad internet connection. I'm going to try again tonight from my GF's internet connect.

Ah okay, are you still on korthos? If so, take the ship to stormreach from the Korthos harbour and then head to where the airship docks. Look on the map (press M) for the green anchor and you'll find the lightning post a few metres away.

I sent you a guild invite a while ago Asmael! The mailbox looks like a bag with a line diagonally across it on the map. There's no mailbox on Korthos though so you'll have to hit at least the Harbor to find one.

Grace, lava diving or being eaten by dragon are pretty cool too

i think its called arlyns ring, and last one i picked up i sold for 50K plat.

So I was listening in to general chat where someone was going on about fortification and how its very useful to have it at 100% and then I did some reading and learned about the nightforge gorget that gives heavy fort which you can get through the Relic of Sovereign Past quest.

Except its a lvl 12 quest and I was all 'eek' about that. But I went in anyway on casual and with a cleric hireling and after a lot of running around and hitting stuff and being burnt by fire elementals I got my lovely nightforge gorget ^^ and a collapsed portable hole (bonus!) - and beat the king and his guards for two chests (although I now gather more xp is available if he's defeated with diplomacy but heck, Zillee isn't good with words).

And no one was online for me to go Yay! at.

So going Yay! here instead =)

Now tell me, is heavy fortification really important or was I listening to people who know nothing?

wow, that is a very awesome run there beth! now ya can get your extra inventory when you rack up enough coin lords favor

its definitely useful (heavy fort)

what it does, is when you are critical hit by anyone, instead of adding the X2, X3, X4 damage modifiers like normal, you get hit as if it was regular damage instead. you wont be critical hit again

at lower levels, is probably not as needed. but i am learning the hard way when running raids at high levels it is totally necessary! i keep getting critical hit for like 250 HP lol and it ruins my poor rangers day. i am hoping to craft something soon that will give me heavy fort myself
