The NNGO Guild!

Yeah, no kidding, most of us have several different toons of all classes. You have to assume you ARE going to screw up your first one, at least a little, because all of us do. There are ways to fix it later, bu the point is don't worry too much about it. Just play what seems cool, look stuff up or ask when you're confused, and know that there's a big learning curve that you'll get a handle on eventually.

you have 2 slots for characters for free when you start as well, so that helps. i am the same and do not like to start a character over once i've put in a certain amount of time into them.

that is also why i have a bard that is banked and cannot use until i get a special item for them lol

Yeah, but the way the game is coded by the devs and how they change it occasionally mean that even those people that have played forever end up doing a lot of tweaking and changing. Playstyle also ends up causing some changes, so just be flexible.

The guild has alot of most things

I would not take a monk untill you have unlocked the 32 point build as it a class that needs alot of stats in alot of area's.

I've played with quite a few who played D&D before getting into DDO, and they have all said it's nothing like it and things you think should be great aren't. Not having any clue about the whole thing, I'll just go off of what they've said

As for the rest... I'd say do what you want and think you'll like

I'm one of those who isn't quiet so worried about awesome or epic.. I just have fun with making my own toons and doing whatever. Figure as long as I'm not dieing every other minute or that it's all good (this of course is void when running with Grace and we die all the time for fun )

Perhaps this needs quoting directly for folk who are rerolling a toon. Basically if you are deleting a toon, don't leave the guild beforehand. And put a placeholder toon in the guild if you don't already have a second toon in the guild before you delete the toon you want to reroll.

i think thats what happened. i cant remember the newest guys name we added, he was a friend of verdepraz, but i dont see any new names on the list i dont recognize so im guessing he re-rolled. common mistake, no worries.

it is curious to see the decay, if i understand correctly we lose a bit over 2k renown per day? thats not a lot for high level toons but can seem like a lot when all you pull are heroic deeds

my monk is doing the essence grind in the dreaming dark and constantly pulling legendary victories lately. made like 30k renown in a few hours last night running with tod, was pretty sweet to get us closer to that new ship!

we did have a couple people as well who logged in and then went inactive again, so thats 30 days of extra decay from their account. no biggie, but it could hurt if everyone did the same thing i think...

I was tempted to reply that we are like that and awesome, but we're not reecruiting... seems like a tease though

What was the code for free mana pots again?

1 point major experience pot is "powerup" I didn't hear anything about mana pots

Proposal! We have several that are at the ugly mid levels. Let's get together and make plans, those that want can drink their xp pots, and we can static blow through stuff like Restless, Sands, and GH. Can finish it all quicker with a good group, will be more fun with guildies, and less xp pot waste.
