The Quest for Silver Flame Favour

I'm slowly working my way towards silver flame favour. If anyone else wants to try for this, or would like to lend a hand getting there, you would be more than welcome!

I now have 357/400.

Catacombs and lowbie quests, Necro 1 + 2 - done on elite

Necro 3:
Tomb of the Blighted - norm (potential 12 favour left)
The rest done on elite

Blighted is the one with the oozes. I ran through this okay on normal solo, but if some one has ddoor, I think that would help avoid respawing stuff when running back to the start. I read that the blight can only be cured by throwing a pouch of water on the ground and running through this, but didn't try this out while soloing (due to just wanting to push on when I realised all the mobs kept respawing like crazy).


As for The Rest:
Necro 4
Fleshmakers laboratory - norm (potential favour left 12)
Ghosts of Perdition - not tried this yet (potential favour left 18)
Litany - still need to flag for this (potential favour 18)
Ascension Chamber - still need to flag for this (potential favour 21)

Inspired Quarter
In the Demon's den - (potential favour - 18)

would be interested in helping out, even though I dont think any of my toons can use a silver flame pot without becoming helpless..

(drinking a silver flame pot give -10 to each ability for 30 seconds, so if one dump stat goes to 0 you become helpless)

they are great healing pots tho if you have 11 in each stat at least


btw, be careful of the tomb of blighted if you are a TWF. it can eat your weapons, like abbot.

Check out what you need, in case there's any I can open on elite for you that you may have missing and we'll see if we can hit the SF pots together

If there's any one else with melee toons who don't have self-healing who'd like to go for this, this is a good time to speak up. As has already been pointed out, you really need to have at least 11 in all stats when using the pots because of the -10 to your stats for 30 seconds after drinking. I might be able to help a bit with getting +2 tomes for those who have stats sat at 8, and then with the ship buff shrines, you're then good for an hour of questing and drinking these superhealing pots. They might seem expensive but you get a lot of healing quickly. Smack your kensai boost and madstone rage on to compensate for the stat loss for 30 seconds and keep on fighting!

Got Tomb of the Forbidden completed on elite last night running it with anto. Yay!

Gratz! So do you need to have like nearly everything on elite to get Silver Flame favour?

Nearly everything but not quite. There is a potential 456 favour from sf quests.

Assume abbot is run on normal only - minus 14
Assume litany is run on normal only? - minus 12

That leaves another 30 favour wiggle room. Some of that wiggle room will be given to inferno of the damned (unless it is easier than my first impression of it and I was just with a newbie clueless group).

Suggestions for which to try to take to elite and which to leave at hard welcomed =)

Litany's no problem to run on elite, the end bosses are optional.

Slowly getting there! Found groups today for inferno and temple of vol on elite. Making a note that its far easier to find groups for necro at level at elite so I remember to do this on the way up next time lol Three sigil pieces still needed too, which I keep on forgetting is a requirement - doh!

So to complete the sigils I need:

Right frame - inferno of the damned
Left frame - ghosts of perdition
Right pincer - any quest

Dang, though I wouldn't need to do inferno again lol
