Very nice work

For any who didn't know, I ran two all healer shrouds last night both went extremely well. Only one time taking down the 4 monsters and crystal in part 2, no walls of death (had a cleric who could pick locks) in part three, 2 rounds on the first run on harry (we were figuring it out) and less than a single round on the second run) in part 4, and quite quick deaths to the big guy in part 5

I thought it was quite funny that there was an all favored soul elite run of shroud almost immediately after my two healer ones were done... poor khyber... lol

Well, at least the first part of this is awesome (2nd part is not lol).

Ran an elite TOD last night that took 2 hours to fill (thanks to the divine Shroud runs ).

We made it through the first part (arguably the hardest due to the spike damage on elite).

Then the leader/kiter choked with 10% health on the boss in part 2.

He then suggested to reform.

Healers were like "fuck this" and left (can't blame them after their substantial pot usage in part 1).

My friend Legend was in that group...he said it was interesting

Yeah, I understand shit happens, but man, to blow the kiting like that hurt.

Ran a few more TOD runs today - one run the Horoth tank couldn't hold the aggro lol.

MyDDO'ed him and found out he only had 32 str and one of his two weapons wasn't even a DR breaker haha.

So... after we reformed pulled a draconic ring. Could have probably used it but put it up for roll and threw the beggars a bone.

Score 1 for NNGO.

ToD is such a fruitless task for healers. The rings are crap and it's an extremely expensive raid to heal... I've done it once on Tay and I doubt I'll bother doing it again in a hurry!

Yeah I only ever run it on ArcaneJill to try and get Anto or other guildies their rings. Would never run it for myself, much too expensive.

For any non-level 20s who missed the awesomeness of this, I found this SS on the khyber forum. All of these groups were in response to Saecret's LFM for eChrono. He put in it that people who joined his eChrono should not be in need of a few different specific seals (so they could be passed to him if pulled). He's become quite famous for his poor character play, lack of listening abilities, and tasteless LFMs. In fact, I joined an eChrono later that night and was joking with everyone about the earlier rash of LFMs for it and told the leader he probably shouldn't accept Seacret if he applied (I had a few bad experiences with him myself in epics). As it always seems to do, fate had Saecret on his monk named Ulity apply to the group and get accepted, I whispered to the group leader that it was an alt of saecret and the group leader seemed to know that already so I shrugged and went with it. First, he stood at the purple barrier at the top of the stairs and almost died as he continued to stand there taking damage even as we said come down the stairs 5 times. I had to heal him to keep him alive. Then halfway through the run to the bank he aggros everything in the area and brings it back to us, where we promptly wipe.

For all who are unaware of him, he has a few characters Seacret, Saecret, and Ulity are those I know of so far. Each one of which has almost ended, or ended an epic poorly for me. (had to 5 man last fight in the quest into the deep, had him agro big top mob while caster was shrining outside, and he wiped our chrono)

The name is familiar. I remember him for his ability to die.

Pulled an encrusted ring in TOD today on my pally (too bad I wasn't on my barb, who doesn't have one yet).

Gave priority to the barb in the group but he/she already had one. Put it up for roll - went to a FVS.

Afterwards, the barb thanked me for asking him/her first.

Was an awesome run - I counted two eSOS's in our armed mob and everyone else was well-geared/rolled.

The whole run took about 20-25 minutes - we pwned the tower (still had smites leftover lol).

Back to level 1 low-ness

Note to self, make sure you plan to have some gear ready.

Awesome VoN raid at level ^^

Was in there on my lvl 9 fighter, and with Soorya (Jaayse), just normal difficulty. No healers and we're finishing off pt 5. Eleven in the party and still no healer had joined, so we decide to carry on. One died at the end fight of pt 5 and one left choosing not to complete. So down to 9 players and no one else can now join. After a bit of a discussion, the group decides to try pt 6 without a healer, just to see if we can. One person dies as we do the bases, so we're down to 8 for the dragon fight and we beat her =) Think I had about 40 hp left *grins* One lucky guy gets his SOS too! Very exhilarating run!

(More awesome stuff earlier in the day when a ToD group decided Zillee should be their Horoth tank - yes, I think they were desperate LOL but we got through it Today's been a good day - even beats my night of the Hound raids earlier this week: two failed runs then on the third we beat the raid and I got to be the chew toy *grins* This game is a LOT more fun when groups let you do more than the usual crowd dps stuff)

Made my Epic Sacred Helm tonight

Gives me radiance guard, deathblock, and eternal faith, and since I already have heavy fort, I put a toughness crystal on my epic cavalry plate and I didn't lose anything by slotting in the helm!

I'm looking pretty darned good these days!

Yeah it's a nice helm for sure!
