Ugh! That sounds terrible! Wish I could help, but in my programming courses (I only took two so far) we used C++, so I don't know how useful for you I could be (depends on the actual course material.) Dad teaches Java though (not sure which, so might not be helpful ) but if you're ever stuck I can ask him for you!
Last semester, a lot of my friends went on YouTube for programming lectures and seemed to really understand things better there than in class. Maybe you could try that as well?
Also, fuck yeah you're great! But yes, your coworkers are quite shitty too.

Yeah, a former student (now lecturer) has a tonne of videos that are for my course. I do java btw (for the module I described)
java vs JavaScript?:
If you're confused between java and java script then java script is a completely different language used to add features to websites written in HTML (that's another module I have)
Just submitted a huge part of my java project, that was a relief!

Oh I know the difference between Java and JavaScript, just thought for some reason that there were multiple languages called Java... what I get from posting when sleepy hehe.

So this isn't for me..... it is for someone who has meant the world to me since I met her in RK all those years ago. The person behind Amaralynn is one of the most beautiful people the world has seen. And it's breaking my heart to see this.
If you can, donate, if you know people who may, share it, and have them share it.

I went to Emerald City Comic Con yesterday! It is the third largest in the US, behind New York and San Diego. It was super crowded, overstimulating, the lines were crazy long for some of my favorite artists/writers---in short, it was fucking awesome!
Next year, I am going for the whole weekend. Â I didn't take too many pictures, as I was lugging around a big bag of comic books to get signed. Very well represented in numbers: Deadpool, Harley Quinn, Joker, Bane, Doctor Who, Spiderman, and Storm Troopers. I didn't see a single Vampirella or Slave Leia, which just astounds me as they are usually plentiful. I will give those girls this: it was fuckin' hot in there, and I see the merits to wearing a single swath of fabric over my delicate parts. I wore a tank top and was pretty warm at times. Â
Here are some pics from the event: A bunch of cosplayers coming up from a photo op. I especially like the Lego mini-fig
The queue into the showroom floor in the morning. It went surprisingly quick, because they had two huge doors in which all the people funneled in.
This guy is in a facebook group I am part of. I watched the progression of his costume online, so when I saw him IRL, I wanted to take his pic. A lot of work goes into the costumes! I appreciate the ones who put forth an effort.
And as a HUGE lover of She-Hulk, I got one of the artists to sign a cover of a She-Hulk book. I saw this print and nearly died from the hotness. I had the artist sign the print as well.
This one is my favorite. Batman's got his dukes up!

It was super fun! I did not get to any panels because my main goal was to get signatures. I now know this is why people go for several days. I dragged ass when I bought tickets and only went for one day. Next year, I will go for multiple days and 1)spread out my fucking haul to get signed so I don't kill my shoulders schlepping around 3000 tons of books, 2)have time to actually attend some panels. There were several I was interested in, just didn't get to them. Another reason is because it is VERY easy to lose track of time while milling around, people watching, shopping, waiting in line, and yapping with a favorite writer/artist. Next thing you know- shit, that panel started ten minutes ago!

Love being able to pop on here and just catch up with everyone thru this thread! Wonderfully awesome! Feel like I've been out of the loop for quite some time. Totally jelly Morg, I'd love to squish my toes in some warm sand right now, I won't be able to put a bathing suit on this summer O.o Comi-cons! Those are so damn fun! I've only been to one but it was great, the people were amazing! congrats Ahlia! ^^
I'm officially hormonally challenged. >.< First day I found out I was pregnant I stopped smoking cold turkey and stopped drinking caffeinated drinks and dealing with insane family members after my grandpa died...talk about depressing, I stayed in bed for a week, or more, seriously. Was either that or strangle someone. Feeling much better now.
(btw, after surfing back I'd seen my old cake post and I'd lost it, cried lol, that hormonally challenged stuff started then I believe ^^ haha)
